Glynn County Schools plan to provide a centralized vaccination clinic for school district employees through a collaboration with the public health department.
Parents and guardians who have a child that will attend public school in Glynn County for the first time next school year are encouraged to register their child now for school in August. The 2021-2022 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 10.
Thanks to now-approved waivers under the Seamless Summer Option guidelines, all students in the Glynn County School System will continue to receive breakfast, lunch and after-school snacks at no charge through the end of June 2021.
Glynn County Schools recently hosted its second annual mock interview day for high school students with disabilities, as part of a larger initiative to prepare students for the working world after high school.
Parents will be required to submit meal orders online weekly by 12 p.m. on Mondays. Meals will be distributed every Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at Brunswick High School bus ramp.

The Glynn County Board of Education, in partnership with the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, will host a “Meet the Finalist” virtual forum beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5 to provide an opportunity for the public to meet Dr. Scott Spence, the sole finalist named for the position of superintendent.
